The following text is from the original listed building designation:
LEYBOURNE CP BIRLING ROAD TQ 65 NE (west side) 7/198 Stable block 50 yards - NW of Leybourne Grange

Stable block. c1850. Yellow stock brick with ashlar dressings. Shallow hipped slate roofs with 5 stage tower in angle. 1 storey to east, 2 to south, 3 to north behind tower. East wing: South side. 4 bays, windows arched with flank- ing lights and overlights all set in arched recesses with doubled arched dress- ings and keystones. Doubled boarded doors in entrance 2nd bay front left. South wing: East front (block to left of above). 6 bays with boarded doors in outer bays, windows in 2 central bays, all in ground floor niches with double dressed arches. 2nd bays from each end of storeys, with windows below single dressed niches and shallow doors to left on 1st floor with double dressed arches. Single dressed round windows in 1st, 3rd, 4th and 6th bays on 1st floor. Louvred top bit ventilation house off-centre on roof. Tower: Arched doorway with panelled door on ground floor to east. Margin-light arched double-dressed window to east and south, on 1st floor lower to south, lighting stairs. These repeated at similar levels on 2nd floor. Chimney-breast bracketed out on 2nd floor to east on block to rear. Moulded stone bands below 2nd, 3rd and 4th floors. Clock faces to south and east on 3rd floor. Triple arched belfry openings on 4th floor with large louvres. Bracketed cornice to pyramidal slate roof with weather- vanes. North side: Symmetrical 3-storey block to right fronting tower with pyrammidal slate roof. Segment-headed openings to 3-window front with central 1st floor shallower than others. Casement windows except glazing bar sashes on 1st floor. Central boarded door.
