Pair of cottages. Early to mid C19. Picturesque style. Red brick in Flemish bond with grey headers forming diaper pattern and rubbed yellow brick voussoirs. Tiled roof with central chimney of three plain diagonally set stacks. Two storeys; 4 windows in all. Gabled to front and side elevations with ornate fretted wooden bargeboard and blank arched niches. Arched windows with 12-pane sashes. Central open projecting porches with tiled roofs with fretted bargeboards, rustic pole supports and panelled doors. Outshot to rear with casement windows and plain doors. Original staircase with stick bannisters and partition walls of thin scantling.
