TQ 5956 IGHTHAM THE STREET 5/20 (south-east side)
Tudor Cottage GV II
House or hall-house. Originally part of a hall-house. C16. Plaster and applied half-timber facade of late C19 date on earlier brick walls. Red brick to north. Plain tiled roof with dormer to right and return gable with decorated barge-boards to left. Two storeys; 2 windows, C19 lattic casements, on first floor canted bay window on ground floor to left. Recessed panelled C18 door to right with flat projecting hood. This property forms half of the original house, Sycamore Cottage next door the other half later additions to north and behind.
