Summary

Extensive excavations revealed a Romano British occupation site with with wells, cremations and pits. Large collections of pottery dating from the 1st to 3rd century were found. Other finds included coins, a strap end, a quern brooches and rubble indicative of a building nearby. Iron Age and Medieval coins were found as well as Medieval pottery.
