In 2013 AW Heritage Services carried out a watching brief during renovation works. The 19th century extension on the northern side was demolished. The floor within the building was lifted and exposed dwarf walls probably relating to the original medieval building. A clay and peg tile lined probable cess pit was found outside the building. (2)
