Restaurant. C18 extended and front altered in mid-C19. Stuccoed with incised lines to imitate masonry. Old tiled roof in 3 hips 2 storeys. 3 windows to Swan Street, 2 storeys and attics 1 window to Police Station Road. Mid-C19 sashes with moulded surrounds and brackets below. Eared and footed architraves to ground floor windows. Plinth. Rear wing has 2 16-pane sashes.

The former Lobster Pot public house, which is included in the proposed development, is a
grade II listed eighteenth-century building (TQ 65 NE 195/1219157), modified and
extended in the mid-nineteenth century. The building is stuccoed with incised lines to
imitate masonry, with a peg-tile roof and mid-Victorian sash windows. It was first
mapped as a public house on the 1908 25-inch Ordnance Survey map and was
formerly known as the Kent Arms (2)
