Newhouse Farmhouse
II
Farmhouse, possibly former hall-house. C16 with C18 elevations. Coursed stone blocks with red brick quoins and window dressings. Random stone plinth. Some tile-hanging on side and rear. Hipped plain tiled roof with 1 stack at left and off-ridge to rear. 2 storeys; irregular 4 window front, glazing bar sashes, tripartite at both ends and on both floors. Central half-glazed and panelled door in pilastered frame with dentilled and pedimented entablature.
