Monument record TQ 96 SW 50 - Roman cremation cemetery, Murston, near Sittingbourne

Summary

Roman cremation cemetery found in 1924 a few hundred yards north of Mere Court, Muston, on brickearth excavations. Amongst the finds were large quantities of broken pottery, coins of Constantine and Allectus, iron implements and glass fragments.
