HADLOW THREE ELM LANE, GOLDEN GREEN TQ 64 KM 6/94 Hadlow Place Farmhouse

Cottage, former farmhouse. Probably C18. Flemish bond red brick at ground floor level, timber framing above clad with peg-tile; brick stacks and chimneyshafts; peg-tile roof.
Plan: 3-room plan house facing south west. The right room, probably the parlour has a rear lateral stack, central entrance hall and left room, probably the kitchen has a projecting gable end stack. 2 storeys with attics in the roofspace and integral lean-to outshots to rear.
Exterior: Irregular front fenestration ith 3 ground floor windows and 2 first floor windows, late C19 and C20 replacements casements with glazing bars. Front doorway is right of centre. It contains a late C19 panelled door behind a contemporary gabled porch with waney bargeboards. Roof is gable- ended and carried down in a continuous pitch over the rear outshots.
