The following text is from the original listed building designation:
HILDENBOROUGH LONDON ROAD (north east side) TQ 54 NE 5/125 Dumnelow memorial about 15m - east of the tower of the Church of St John GV II
Pedestal memorial. Probably late 1860s. Freestone. Greek Revival style. A tapering pedestal on a battered base. Projecting cornice with antefixae carved with palmettes at the corners and acroteria. Sculpted Agnus Dei on the top of the monument. Inscriptions commemorate Frances Dumnelow, died 1863 and her daughters.
A good example of a Greek Revival memorial.
