House, formerly hall-house. C16 with C18 elevations. Timber-framed with rendered ground-floor and weatherboarded 1.floor and gables; some exposed framing visible on left return front. Half-hipped plain tiled roof with large moulded brick ridge stack and small stack off-ridge to rear at right. 2 storeys; widely-spaced 3 window front, C20 wooden casements. Small casement of 1st floor above porch. Gabled weather porch with C20 door to left of right-hand window.
