Formerly known as: Ford House. Cottage. Timber-framed building, C17 or earlier, refronted in C18. Red brick on stone base with old tiled roof. 2 storeys: 3 windows. Unusual wooden cornice with Gothic frieze. 12-pane sashes in moulded architraves. Central doorcase with architrave surrounds and open pediment with boarded fanlight with Gothick motif. 6-panelled door. Weatherboarded gable to rear with leaded casements in attic storey and part of 1st floor. Considerable remains of exposed timber framing internally.
