TQ 65 SW PLAXTOL SHEET HILL 4/2 (west side)

Farmhouse. C16 with C20 wing to rear. Coused rubble plinth with red brick band. Exposed timber-framing above with plaster infilling. Hipped plain tiled roof with large central stack. Full width jetty above ground floor on exposed joists and brackets. West return front with ground floor of red brick and random rubble. Timber-framing above. East return front and north front, to junction with red brick north front, all timber-frame with plaster infilling. Two storeys, 3 windows. Modern diamond lattice casements. Entrance in modern weather porch at junction of north front with north wing. Modern boarded and ribbed door. Interior. C16 fireplace with stop-chamfered bressumer. Two crown posts of late design in roof.
