AYLESFORD CP MACKENDERS LANE TQ 76 SW (north side) 4/70 Eccles - The Red Bull Public House
GV II
Cottage, now public house. Late C16 or early C17, with C19 or C20 additions. Timber-framed and roughcast with plain tiled roof, hipped to left, with end stack to right. 2 storeys; irregular 2-window front, casements on the first floor, public house windows on the ground floor. Panelled doors with central glazed lights at left and to right of centre. 2-storey C19 wing to left at right angles, 1-storey C20 wing to right. Interior: Substantial timber-frame with jowled posts and 1 visible curved brace. Queen-post side-purlin roof.
