The following text is from the original listed building designation:
THE PANTILES 1. 1746 (North West Side) Colonnade between Nos 28 and 38 TQ 5838 NW 1/296 II 2. The houses Nos 3O-36 were demolished in the l93Os but the colonnade of 7 Tuscan columns with 7 Tuscan pilasters behind remains. Forms a group with rest of colonnade.
