The following text is from the original listed building designation:
CLARENCE ROAD 1. 1746 No 2 TQ 5839 SW 2/168 II GV 2. Mid C19. 2 storeys stuccoed. Hipped slate roof with right side gable. 3 sashes with glazing bars intact and Regency type blinds set in moulded architraves. Stringcourse. Ground floor windows have cornice and brackets over. Glass conservatory to right hand side. Nos 1 and 2 form a group.
