The following text is from the original listed building designation:
MOUNT EPHRAIM 1. 1746 (North West Side) No 58 TQ 5839 NW 3/269 II GV 2. Early to Mid C19. 3 storeys stuccoed with rusticated ground floor. Parapet and dentilled cornice. 4 sashes on the front elevation, set in moulded architraves. The south-west front is of 2 storeys with slate roof, 3 sashes and a simple doorcase with later hipped weatherhood. Nos 58 to 61 (consec) and pavement form a group.
