15/231 First Cottage and 20.6.67 Middle Cottage, Cliffe Cottages GV II Former cottage row, now house pair. C18. Painted brick and weather boarding with plain tiled roof. Two storeys on plinth with roof half-hipped to left, gabled to right, with stack to centre. Five glazing bar sashes irregularly spaced on 1st floor, and 3 on ground floor, with multi-paned canted bay at end left with adjacent glazed door and boarded door under double width flat hood on brackets, and boarded door to right at head of flight of 3 steps, with rectan- gular fanlight and flat hood on brackets.
