Monument record TR 01 NE 6 - St Lawrence's Battery 1798

Summary

An 18th century coastal battery consisting of a triangular fort is recorded from documentary evidence as having existed at this location. It is known as St Lawrences Battery. This area was surveyed as part of the South East RCZAS NMP project. The fort was not visible on historic aerial photographs.
