The following text is from the original listed building designation:
CRANBROOK FRYTHE WALK TQ 73 NE (west side) 3/102 20.6.67 The Pest House - II
Former pest house, now house. C16. Timber framed and clad in red brick on ground floor and tile hung on first floor. Plain tiled roof with ridge stack at right end on very large projecting breast with set-offs. 2 storeys. Irregular fenestration of 2 windows on first floor and 2 windows on ground floor, wooden casements. Half glazed door in glazed flat-roofed weather porch at left hand end. Interior: Substantial timber frame survives.
