The following text is from the original listed building designation:
SANDHURST TQ7928 RYE ROAD (OFF) 1350-0/9/242 Sunnyside GV II House. C18. Ground floor red'brick with grey headers, 1st floor hung with alternate courses of plain and curved tiles. Tiled roof, hipped to one end with 2 brick chimneystacks. 2 storeys and attics. 3 windows. C20 casements and gabled weatherporch. C19 brick L-wing. Interior has open fireplace with salt niche. Early C19 cupboard with serpentine shelves. Some probably reused early C17 doors.
