The following text is from the original listed building designation:
SANDHURST TQ72NE CHURCH ROAD 1350-0/5/187 Stables and Hayloft at Old Place GV II Stables and hayloft. c.1870. Brick in Flemish bond with tiled roof. L-shaped range. Main range of 1 storey and attics with end hayloft entrance. 1st floor has 3 Diocletian windows divided by pilasters with imprest blocks, between which are ground floor 16-pane sashes. 2 plain doors with fanlights over. L range of 1 storey with 2 paired Diocletian windows and central door with fanlight over. Main range has tack room with wooden saddle stands and wooden stall partitions.
