The following text is from the original listed building designation:
SANDHURST TQ72NE CHURCH ROAD 1350-0/5/190 Ward Monument approx 2 metres north east of north Porch at St Nicholas Church GV II Chest tomb. Mid C19. Stone chest with moulded plinth and flat slab. Pilastered corners with raised decoration, with some decoration to inscription panels.
