The following text is from the original listed building designation:
SANDHURST TQ72NE CHURCH ROAD 1350-0/5/188 The Old Rectory II Former rectory now house. C18 or earlier origins, refronted and extended in C19. Red brick with patterns of diaper work, some tile hanging to gables, tiled roof and brick chimneystacks. 2 storeys irregular fenestration. Entrance front has 3 hipped dormers and 5 C19 casements. Left side elevation has curved bay with curved sash and 2 tripartite sashes, 1 in a projecting gable with wooden bargeboards and hung with alternate courses of plain and fishscale tiles.
