Full Description

The following text is from the original listed building designation:
BENENDEN TQ83SW GODDARD'S GREEN 1350-0/3/32 Eaton House 20/06/67 GV II House. C15 or earlier open hall house converted into a lobby entrance house and with addition of parlour wing in early C17, refaced in early C19. Exterior clad in red brick on ground floor and tile hung above. Steeply pitched tiled roof with restored cruciform brick stack. 2 storeys: 3 windows. C19 casements with leaded lights and large C19 weatherporch. Interior has roll-moulded dais beam and retains its original plank screen. Late C16 ceiling beams and open fireplace. Parlour wing has chamfered beams with lambs' tongue stops.
