The following text is from the original listed building designation:
BENENDEN TQ73SE BABBS LANE 1350-0/2/2 Barn at Babbs Farmhouse 11/02/92 GV II Barn. Late C18. Timber framed barn clad in weatherboarding on brick plinth. Half-hipped old tiled roof with central cart entrance. 5 bay barn. Wall frame has midrail. Roof has collar beam, the through purlins and ridge piece.
