It was made from sandstone, and comprised a single arch with triple keystones and steeped buttresses and plat banded parapet walls. The bridge was built as part of improvements made to Scotney Castle park by Edward Hussey.

LAMBERHURST SCOTNEY TQ 63 NE 3/230 Bridge over the Sweetbourne at TQ 6875 3510 GV II
Bridge. Circa 1840. Sandstone. Single arch over stream with triple keystones and stepped buttresses and plat band to parapet walls, splayed on plan and with coping stones. Part of Edward Hussey's improvements to Scotney Castle park.

Bridge of c.1840, constructed of sandstone, a single arch over Sweetbourne stream with triple keystones and steeped butresses and plat band to parapet walls. Splayed on plan and with coping stones. Part of Edward Hussey's improvements to Scotney Castle Park. Listed grade 2.
