Summary

Grade II listed building. Timber framed house, circa 1700 or earlier with 18th century extensions. The house has weather boarding and an extended weather boarded and rendered section, it has a plain tiled roof that is hipped to the right and gabled to the left. It has two storeys and an additional bay to the left. To the front is a central gabled porch flanked by casement windows. To the first floor there are two casement windows. At the time of the photographic survey it was undergoing refurbishment.

The following text is from the original listed building designation:
LAMBERHURST FREE HEATH ROAD TQ 63 NE (west side) 3/153 Apps Farmhouse GV II House. Circa 1700 or earlier, extended later C18. Timber framed and weather boarded and extended with rendered and weather boarded section, with plain tiled roof. Two storeys, the end left additional bay buttressed, with roof hipped to right and gabled to left, with stack, and ridge line stepped down to left. Two large wooden casements on each floor of main block, of three and two lights each, and smaller wooden casement on each floor of left band block. Boarded door in gabled porch to centre. Small returned wings to left and to right.
