The following text is from the original listed building designation:
GOUDHURST TWYSSENDEN TQ 73 NW 5/277 Granary about 20 metres west of Twyssenden GV II Granary. C18. Timber framed and tile hung on red brick base with plain tiled roof. Built on a slope, the lower stage open with red brick walls, with outshot to left on lower floor. Upper floor with half-hipped roof, with boarded door in left hip-end, and to right on long side, reached by flight of brick and stone steps. Catslide outshot at right, weather boarded and with red brick return wall, also with boarded door.
