The following text is from the original listed building designation:
FRITTENDEN TANYARD ROAD TQ 83 NW (west side)
6/65 Burnt House 20.12.88 II House. Circa 1700. Red brick base, with tile hung framing over. Plain tiled roof. Two storeys with hipped roof to right and projecting stack to left. Three light and 2 light wooden casements on each floor, and central boarded door with hoodlet. Small bread-oven outshot to rear. Interior: possibly earlier frame concealed. Bread oven, copper and early C20 Art Nouveau fireplace sur- vive. Empty and derelict at time of survey.
