CALVERLEY PARK 1. 1746 No 4 TQ 5839 SE 7/119 20.5.52. II* GV 2. An early Victorian villa. This was a pair to No 3 but has been much altered. Wings have been built on below the gable ends to the north, east and west. Built of local stone out to imitate bricks instead of large blocks having a stone base and long and short cuoins. L-shaped 2 storeys and attics. Tiled roof with gable end to each wing and at the south end of the east front. The additions are of 2 to 3 storeys stuccoed. Tiled roof with scalloped bargeboards. Mullioned and transomed windows. Nos 1 to 24 (consec) form a group with Keston Lodge and Victoria Lodge. Listing NGR: TQ5895739409 (1)
Description from record TQ 53 NE 16 :
(Sited to TQ 58963942 from OS 1:1250 1973) 1746 CALVERLEY PARK 2. The layout of Calverley Park and the individual houses in it were designed by Decimus Burton. The general design was made in 1828 and the houses were built during the next 10 years. The town planning of the estate is excellent but the houses vary considerably in style and quality. 1746 CALVERLEY PARK No 4 TQ 5839 SE 7/119 20.5.52 II* GV 2. An early Victorian villa.
