Findspot record TR 02 NW 9 - Early Iron Age Glass Bead

Summary

A blue glass bead, with spiral inlays of yellow, dated between 200 and 100 BC, was found in 1937 at the N.W. corner of field No. 128 of OS 25" 1907 sheet LXXXI-14. The bead was found with numerous C17th articles during the removal of building foundations. It would appear to have been a collector's piece as it was found close to a chatelaine of C17th date and amongst other relics from Haunted House Field.
