The following text is from the original listed building designation:
SANDHURST TQ72NE BOURNE LANE 1350-0/5/178 Ives Cottages II Pair of cottages, originally one house. Probably late Medieval open hall-house with late C16 inserted chimneystack. Timber-framed building with framing exposed on 1st floor with roughcast and plaster infilling with curved tension bracing and box framing to left hand side. Ground floor weatherboarded. Steeply pitched hipped tiled roof with gablet to left and large, formerly ribbed, brick chimneystack. 2 storeys 3 windows. C20 casements and 2 plank doors. Weatherboarded outshut to left hand side.
