The following text is from the original listed building designation:
CALVERLEY PARK GARDENS 1. 1746 (North West Side) No 3 TQ 5839 NE 6/81 26.3.73 II 2. This was one of the houses on the Calverley Estate designed by Decimus Burton circa 1835 and is similar to several in Calverley Park but it has late C19 additions. The original portion is of 2 storeys in local Tunbridge Wells stone. Modillion eaves cornice. 6 sashes with glazing bars missing. Bay of 3 windows on both floors at the west end of the front with a pediment over. Hooded verandah on ground floor. On the east side there is a later Cl9 extension of 2 storeys with bracket eaves cornice. Oriel windows on 1st floor and sashes on ground floor. Tudor arch doorcase with hood moulding.
