The following text is from the original listed building designation:
CHURCH ROAD 1. 1746 (South Side) Nos 41 to 45 (odd) TQ 5839 SW 2/164 II GV 2. Early to Mid C19. 3 storeys painted brick, the right side stuccoed. Stone coping and stringcourse. 4 sashes with glazing bars intact, 3 of them canted. 2 3-light bays on 1st floor. Modern shopfronts. Nos 31 to 47 (odd) form a group with No 68 London Road.
