The following text is from the original listed building designation:
GROVE HILL ROAD 1. 5285 TQ 5839 SE No. 37 (Grove Hill Mews) 7/202 II 2 Mews building, in process of conversion to housing. Early C19, architect Decimus Burton and part of the Calverley Park development. One of 2 almost identical pavilions with slightly later cart storage and living accommodation behind. Red brick with grey headers but front stuccoed and with slate roofs. No. 37 has stuccoed front with pediment with oval blank, full height Doric pilasters and bond between floors. lst-floor had window opening with moulded architraves to 1st floor and similar blank to ground floor at time of survey. Left side had loading door to 1st floor. To rear is a 2 storey range, formerly cart store with accommodation above, of red brick with grey headers. 1st floor originally had 6 9-paned sashes (2 blocked in at time of survey). Ground floor had 4 wide double cart doors and narrow cambered entrance and 12 pane sash in cambered surround. Rear elevation has 5 pilasters, 2 blanks and central tripartite window. Shallow pitched roof with through purlins and variation on open strut with subsidiary posts.
