The following text is from the original listed building designation:
TQ 67 41 BRENCHLEY HIGH STREET, BRENCHLEY (south side) 15/100 Chest tomb about lm east of the chancel of the Church of All Saints GV II
Chest tomb. Probably late C18. Freestone. Rectangular chest on a plinth with an overscaling chamfered lid. Ribbed moulding on the ends of the chest. Inscription and date illegible.
