TQ 64 SW CAPEL CHURCH LANE
5/232 Millesden headstone approx 1.5m east of the vestry of the Church of St Thomas A Becket GV II
Headstone. Dated 1758 in memory of John Millesden. Sandstone. Upright slab with double shaped heads. Each head is carved with a winged cherub's head in profile. It is inscribed in Roman serif upper and lower case lettering with some italics and records the death of John Millesden in 1758 and his wife Mary but the date of her death has worn off.
