TQ 64 SW CAPEL CHURCH LANE
5/234 Town headstone approx 5m south south east of the chancel of the Church of St Thomas A Becket GV II
Headstone. Dated 1732 in memory of Ann Town. Upright sandstone slab standing approx 900mm high. It has a double shaped head. The front is very worn. It is inscribed in Roman serif upper and lower case lettering but little is legible in less than perfect lighting conditions. A more legible section records the death of Ann Town in 1732.
