(TR 05202161) Moat-like feature at Jack's Court. (1) This is a home-stead moat, water-filled and in good condition. Published survey (25") correct. (2) (TR 05222160) Moat (NR) (3)The feature does not appear to be a moat but instead is one of many ditched enclosures, presumably for sheep, in the area. Scheduling is not recommended. (4)

Small moated manor built in the medeival period. The present house seems to have been rebuilt in the late 16th century. The new house had a continuous jetty all along the north front and a hall with a seperate cross passage. Later alterations were carried out, probably in the 17th century or early 18th century.(5)
