TQ 55 41 SPELDHURST SPELDHURST HILL (north side), SPELDHURST 12/579 Row of headstones approx 12m south west of the tower of the Church of St Mary the Virgin GV II
Row of headstones, probably reset here along the western edge of the churchyard. C18. All are upright sandstone slabs with shaped heads, some carved or inscribed. Most have fielded panels inscribed in Roman serif upper and lower case lettering.
