House. Probably C17 origins with various later modernisations and extensions. Timber-framed. Ground floor level is underbuilt with red brick, stretcher bond on the front. Framing above is hung with peg-tiles. Brick stacks and chimneyshafts. Peg-tile roof.
Plan: House faces west. Main front block has a 2-room plan with a projecting left (north) gable-end stack. Front door at that end. Various rear blocks are probably additions but, without an internal survey, it is not possible to describe the plan or development and dating of the house in detail. At the right end a 2-room plan wing projects to rear with an axial stack between the rooms. Rear left a lower block is parallel to the main block projecting to left with a one-room block with gable-end stack at right angles to rear.
2 storeys.
Exterior: Regular but not symmetrical 3-window front of C19 and C20 casements containing diamond panes of leaded glass. Front doorway at left end contains an old plank door with coverstrips behind a C20 porch. Main roof is gable- ended to left and hipped to right. Other wings in same style.
Interior was not available for inspection at the time of this survey.
