Small house, formerly 2 cottages. Probably C18. Ground floor plastered brick; first floor weatherboarded; right return partly tile-hung; peg-tile roof; brick stacks.
Plan: East facing. Double depth plan, 2-rooms wide under a 2-span roof, the 2 front rooms heated from end stack, service rooms to the rear, the rear left rooms with a later stack, central front door. A map of 1864 shows the house divided centrally on the short axis.
Exterior: 2 storeys. Asymmetrical 2-window front with a gabled central porch with open timber returns and a C19 panelled front door. Small C19 or C20 casement windows with glazing bars, 2 to each floor. Roof gabled at ends, projecting to end stack.
Interior: Not inspected.
Forms a group with 3 other listed buildings on the west side of the road.
