The following text is from the original listed building designation:
TQ 67 41 BRENCHLEY HIGH STREET, BRENCHLEY (south side) 15/109 Fielder chest tomb and railings about 5m north of the north transept of the Church of All Saints GV II
Chest tomb and surrounding railings. Early C19. Freestone chest, cast iron railings. Rectangular chest with an oversailing moulded lid and moulded plinth. Inscription commemorates Thomas Fielder of Mereworth, died 1810 and other members of the family. The railings have oval section verticals with elaborate finials, the principal standards columnar with stylized foliage decoration.
A very complete monument in an outstanding churchyard.
