The following text is from the original listed building designation:
LONDON ROAD 1. 1746 Tunbridge Wells and Counties Club TQ 5839 SW 2/244 II 2. Dated 1909. Architect Cecil Burns. Neo-Georgian style. 2 storeys and attics red brick. Hipped tiled roof with 2 protruding gable ends. 3 dormers. 1 central curved pedimented dormer flanked by triangular dormers. Wide modillion cornice. 7 window bays. The 2 end bays each side project and have rusticated pilasters. The centre window is flanked by 2 plain pilasters running the whole height of the building. Panels below 1st floor windows with blank shield in centre panel. Stringcourse. The ground floor sashes are cambered and have keystones which protrude into the stringcourse. Plinth. Central round-headed doorcase with moulded surround, semi-circular fanlight and 6 fielded panelled door. 3 stone steps.
