Full Description

The following text is from the original listed building designation:
HIGH STREET 1. 1746 (South East Side) Nos 71 and 73 (York House) TQ 5838 NW 1/42 II GV 2. No 71 is early Cl9. 3 storeys and semi-basement stuccoed. Cornice and parapet. 3 sashes with glazing bars mostly intact. Porch with fluted columns up a flight of steps on the north side, with a railing in front of the porch. The doorcase has a segmental fanlight. No 73 is a builing of the later C19 built on to the right hand side. 2 storeys stuccoed. Moulded eaves cornice. 3 sashes without glazing bars set in moulded architraves. Blank arcading on ground floor and later shop fronts. Nos 65 to 73 (odd) form a group.
