GOUDHURST LONDON ROAD TQ 63 SE (south side)
8/217 Oast house about 130 metres east of Nursery Farmhouse GV II Oast house. Early C19. Stowage timber framed and weather boarded on red brick ground floor, with red brick roundel. Plain tiled roofs. Two storey stowage, gabled, with protruding wooden pipe to right, to take the upper shape of the hop-press when raised. Wooden casement on 1st floor with loft door to return gable. Boarded door on ground floor with carriage doors to return elevation. Roundel to left with cornical tiled roof and wooden cowl.
