The following text is from the original listed building designation:
SANDHURST TQ72NE SPONDEN ROAD 1350-0/5/254 (West side) Little Sponden II House. Late C17 or early C18 3 bay lobby entrance house. Timberframed, clad in weatherboarding on brick plinth with brick ground floor to side elevation. Half-hipped old tiled roof with off central brick chimneystack. 2 storeys and attics in gable end. 4 windows. Casement windows. Large C19 wood and brick weather porch. Interior has 2 bread ovens.
