SOUTHBOROUGH                  THE COMMON                                                   (west side) 1/8 -                                                 Bentham Hill, West Lodge -                                                 II
Circa 1830 lodge, probably by Decimus Burton.  Ashlar in Tudor Gothic cottage mode with tiled roof, 1 storey plan in shape of cross.  East front 2 windows, rest one each.  Casements.  Each front with scalloped barge-board to gable, pendant and finial.  1 storey bay windows on east and west sides.
