BERKELEY PLACE NO 1 Christmas Cottage 24-NOV-1966

Cottage, C18. Ground floor of painted brick, first floor tile-hung, including three courses of curved tiles forming a band across the front. Tiled roof, half-hipped to the east and gabled to the west with tall brick chimneystack. Two storeys; two windows. Two bay end chimneystack plan form. Front or south elevation has early C19 12-pane sashes in moulded wooden architraves. Central doorcase with six panel moulded door with rectangular fanlight over and later trellised porch. No windows to east elevation and north elevation obscured by later building.

BERKELEY ROAD 1. 1746 (North West Side) Nos 23 and 23A TQ 5838 NW 1/38 24.11.66 II GV 2. This adjoins No 2 Berkeley Place. An C18 cottage. 2 storeys, the ground floor painted brick, above tile-hung. Roof has ½ hipped gable. 2 sashes with glazing bars intact. 6-Panel moulded door with rectangular fanlight over and later trellised porch. Plinth. Nos 11 to 17 (odd) and Nos 23 and 23A form a group together with Nos 2 and 3 Berkeley Place.
